Cookie Notice
The short version: browsing staydublin.ie sets no cookies at all. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising and no tracking, which is why you have not been asked to accept anything. The only cookie we set is the one that keeps staff and tenants signed in to their account. We do keep a simple, anonymous count of page views on our own server, described below.

This cookie is not set for visitors who only browse listings or send an enquiry. Under the ePrivacy Regulations a strictly necessary cookie does not require consent, so there is no banner.
Things we store in your browser that are not cookies
Your browser's local storage may hold small preferences that never leave your device and are never sent to us: your light or dark theme choice, properties you have marked as favourites on the Explore page, and, if you install the app to your home screen, the files that let it open offline. You can clear these at any time through your browser's site data settings.
For the length of one visit, your browser's session storage also notes which website sent you here (for example a search engine or a listing site), the page you arrived on, and any campaign tag in the link you followed. It is discarded when you close the tab, we never read it on its own, and it reaches us only if you choose to send an enquiry or sign up to hear about rooms, when it is saved with that request so we know which listings and links are working. Only the sending site's name is kept, never the page you were on there.
Counting visits
Our own server keeps a count of how many times each public page was viewed on each day and which website the visit came from. It stores no IP address, no device or browser details and no identifier of any kind, so it cannot tell one visitor from another, follow anyone between visits, or be linked to a person. Because nothing is stored on your device to do it, it needs no consent.
Third parties
The site serves its typefaces, styling and interface libraries from its own address. Your browser does not fetch anything from Google Fonts or from public content delivery networks, so no outside provider learns your IP address from a visit. There is no payment page: rent and deposits are paid by bank transfer, so no payment provider's cookies are ever involved.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, or any third-party analytics, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
