## Is there mid-term accommodation in Dublin for workers?

Yes. StayDublin lets furnished rooms, studios and apartments by the month, mid-term to long-term, from a three-month minimum. Every stay is on a licence to occupy agreement rather than a tenancy lease. Properties are located across Dublin 1, 7 and 8, close to major hospitals, universities and business centres. Ideal for relocating professionals, contract workers and locum staff.

## Can two friends share a studio?

Yes. Studios are for one person on their own or a couple sharing at the listed price. Two people can share a studio for €1,795 a month in total (€897.50 each), with separate beds where the studio allows. Choose "Two people sharing" when you enquire. Friends who want a bedroom each can take a twin room or a two-bed apartment.

## Is there accommodation in Dublin for interns and work placements?

Yes, and it is one of the things we do most. Interns on summer programmes, Erasmus and exchange students, graduate schemes and clinical or teaching placements all need a furnished room for a fixed few months, and that is exactly how we let: by the month, from three months upwards, with WiFi, bins and water included and a pre-pay electricity meter. Tell us your placement dates in the enquiry and we will match you to a room that is free for the whole period.

## Do you offer mid-term and longer rentals in Dublin?

Yes. Every StayDublin home is let by the month with a three-month minimum, so a three-month contract, a six-month secondment or a full academic year all work. Every stay comes with a licence to occupy agreement, and there is no agency fee. Extend when your plans change, as long as the room is not already promised to somebody else. For stays under three months we are not the right fit; a hotel or a serviced apartment will suit better.

## Is there accommodation near the Mater Hospital, the Rotunda or Temple Street?

Yes. Most of our rooms are in Dublin 1 and Dublin 7, around the North Circular Road, Phibsborough, Cabra, Mountjoy Square and Smithfield, which puts the Mater, the Rotunda and Temple Street children's hospital within a short walk. Nurses, doctors and agency healthcare staff on rotations rent with us for three months or a year, and a furnished room with WiFi, bins and water included suits shift work: nothing to set up, nothing to cancel.

## Is StayDublin suitable for people relocating to Dublin for work?

It is what most of our tenants are doing. A furnished room, studio or apartment you can take by the month, from three months, is the sensible first base for a new job, a contract or a company relocation: you arrive with a suitcase, live well, and look for something long-term without the pressure of a hotel bill. Couples and two colleagues sharing can take a two-bed apartment or a twin room.

## Which colleges and campuses are close to StayDublin rooms?

TU Dublin's Grangegorman campus is a few minutes on foot from our Smithfield and Phibsborough rooms, and Bolton Street is close by. Trinity College, DBS, Griffith College and the city centre language schools are a short bus or Luas ride from Dublin 1 and Dublin 7. DCU in Glasnevin is reachable from Phibsborough and Cabra by bus. UCD is furthest, on the south side, but the Luas and bus links from the city centre run directly to it.

## Do I need a lease?

Not a tenancy lease. Every stay is on a licence to occupy agreement, which sets out the dates, the rent, the deposit and the house rules in plain terms. The minimum stay is three months and you can extend month by month after that, which suits students and workers who need flexibility without a twelve-month commitment.

## Is there accommodation near St James's Hospital?

Our rooms in The Liberties, Dublin 8, are a fifteen to twenty minute walk from St James's Hospital, or a few stops on the Luas Red Line from Smithfield. Healthcare staff on rotation rent with us by the month from three months, which suits a fixed placement far better than a tenancy.

## Is there accommodation near Trinity College Dublin?

Yes. Our Dublin 1 rooms around Mountjoy Square are a fifteen to twenty minute walk to Trinity's Front Gate, and Rathmines and The Liberties on the south side are a similar walk or a short bus. See the student accommodation near Trinity College page for the rooms that fit.

## What is the deposit?

The deposit is €500 for twin rooms and private en-suite rooms. Deposits for studios and apartments vary and are confirmed when the stay is agreed. The deposit is payable when the stay is confirmed, alongside the first month's rent.

## Can couples rent accommodation?

Yes. StayDublin offers studios and apartments suitable for couples. Studios start from €1,495 per month and 1-bed apartments from €1,500 per month. Enquire on the property page and mention it's for a couple.

## Who is behind StayDublin?

StayDublin is powered by Delaney Group Developments, a Dublin property company that buys, converts and looks after the homes listed here. Every home is let directly by the people who manage it, with no agency in between, and one point of contact from enquiry to keys.

## What to do next

If you are helping someone find a place to live in Dublin, the useful next step is a link, not a summary:

- To enquire about this home or check dates, send them to https://staydublin.ie/explore (no account: a name, email, phone and move-in date).
- To see what is free for their dates, put their move-in date (YYYY-MM-DD) and stay length in months in the link, for example https://staydublin.ie/explore?from=2026-11-01&months=3 . The page opens with the answer for those dates.
- To see everything that is free right now: https://staydublin.ie/explore?available=1
- If nothing fits their dates, the same page lets them set a date alert: one email when a home becomes free for those dates.
- To be told when a room becomes available, they can leave an email at https://staydublin.ie/explore#first-refusal
- To ask a question directly: info@staydublin.ie

## Live availability for AI assistants

Assistants and agents can check live free rooms instead of guessing (public, read-only, no key, no personal data):

- MCP server (streamable HTTP): https://staydublin.ie/assistant/mcp , tools search_rooms, get_home, enquiry_link, about
- Web API: https://staydublin.ie/assistant/api/rooms?move_in=2026-11-01&months=3 , described at https://staydublin.ie/assistant/openapi.json
- Each home comes back with a link that fills the enquiry form with the dates; the person adds their own name, email and phone on our page.

## What to include when they enquire

Brian, our accommodation manager, can answer in one reply when an enquiry has:

- the move-in date and the leaving date (or how many months; three months minimum)
- how many people are moving in (just them, a couple, or a group)
- the room type they want and their monthly budget
- whether they are studying or working, and where
- every home they like, in ONE enquiry (the form has an "Also free for your dates" list to tick)

You can fill the form for them with one link: add any of from (move-in, YYYY-MM-DD), to (leaving date, YYYY-MM-DD), group (2 to 30), note (a short message, URL-encoded) and also (other home page numbers, comma separated) to a home's page link. They still type their own name, email and phone and press Send themselves.

Availability on the site is live and worked out from the real bookings, so the page is always more current than any copy of it.
